Description
The Guinness Partnership Limited (TGPL) are publishing this award notice on behalf of their subsidiary Guinness Development Limited (GDL). This is a contract award notice following a competitive process via Westworks Development and Construction DPS under PCR15 to appoint a contractor to build 7 affordable homes on land at St Michaels Drive and Pease and Payne Place, Chelmsford Essex. The land is to be gifted to us by Chelmsford City Council for £2 and both sites have the benefit of planning consent. The build contract is comprised of GDL entering into a JCT Build Contract for the construction of the new homes with Duncan Cameron Hutchinson (which is the subject of this notice), and a simultaneous purchase of the land from Chelmsford City Council by TGPL. The contracting authority for the purpose of the Procurement Regulations will be GDL. GDL is a subsidiary of TGPL but is a contracting authority in its own right.
