Description

CaPPS (Cancer Patient Pathway System) supports the needs of Cancer Services across the HSC and manages the tracking of cancer patients and the MDM (Multi-Disciplinary Meetings) where patient treatments/care is discussed. It is therefore a vital system in the provision of cancer care across the HSC. It was developed jointly by Kainos and BSO ITS and has been supported and enhanced by Kainos for the past 11 years. It is vital that this application is properly maintained as any downtime would have a detrimental effect on the care of cancer patients. It is also vital that the application can be developed to meet the changing requirements of cancer care and changing government directives in this area.
