Description
Ofcom has a requirement for the continuation of the Technology Tracker, an annual survey of the UK population that measures access and usage habits relating to a wide range of devices and communications services. The survey includes a number of high-level measures (such as internet access at home), as well as questions relating to specific devices and/or services used online (e.g. voice notes) and offline (e.g. digital radio). As an official statistic and one of Ofcom's longest-running tracker surveys (first commissioned in 2002), the Technology Tracker is a robust source of information that helps us understand the landscape in which we operate as the regulator for communications in the UK.
