Description
Provision of an Estates & Facilities Management Database & CAFM System to support the objectives of the Council's transformation of the property function, including ensuring that the property team is well staffed with the technical and contract management expertise to operate excellently, and that they have the appropriate systems and resources to manage the council's property effectively. One of the systems used under the contract to deliver the strategic property function is the Property Management System. This is effectively a database that stores information about the property in which the council has a legal interest (either through ownership, lease or license). It is a regulatory requirement that the council retains and manages this data. Additionally, the council's Financial Regulations state that the Council must retain a database of all of its holdings.
